Film Production Accountant

We are seeking an experienced freelance film production accountant for an immediate four-day financial review and QuickBooks reconciliation project.
We have QuickBooks Online records, bank and credit-card statements, production budgets, and supporting documents for a completed feature documentary. The books require cleanup, reconciliation, and organization before being presented to the film's co-producers.
Responsibilities include:
Reconcile QuickBooks with bank and credit-card records
Correct duplicated, missing, or miscategorized transactions
Organize expenditures into appropriate film-production categories
Confirm investor funds and producer contributions
Identify outstanding liabilities and missing documentation
Prepare a production cost report and sources-and-uses summary
Produce a clean P&L, general ledger, and producer-facing financial summary
Clearly identify anything that cannot be resolved during the four-day engagement
Applicants must have advanced QuickBooks Online skills and professional film or television production-accounting experience. Previous experience cleaning up or reconstructing the books for an independently financed feature is strongly preferred.
This is a concentrated 3 day freelance project with an immediate start. Must come to Silverlake office. Strict confidentiality and careful handling of financial information are required.
