Executive Personal Assistant to Producer / Director
Location: Burbank, CA
Schedule: General hours are approximately 9:00 AM-6:00 PM; flexibility is required depending on projects, shoots, and production needs (which may include early mornings, late nights, or occasional weekends)
A dynamic, fast-rising Producer/Director-set to direct a feature film for a major studio in June and currently signed on to multiple additional projects-is seeking a sharp, highly organized, and eager Executive/Personal Assistant to support all aspects of their professional life.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is deeply interested in film and television, understands how sets operate, and thrives in an environment where multiple creative and logistical verticals are moving at once. The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to grow alongside a busy creative principal.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex and ever-changing calendars, including meetings, rehearsals, prep, shoots, and personal commitments
Coordinate logistics for productions, including call times, locations, schedules, and set-related needs
Serve as a point of contact between the Producer/Director and agents, managers, studio executives, production teams, and vendors
Track multiple projects concurrently and help prioritize deadlines, deliverables, and communications
Assist with scripts, decks, treatments, notes, and general project organization
Handle personal assistant duties as needed, including errands, scheduling appointments, and occasional travel coordination
Support on-set needs during shoots when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
Ideal Candidate
Has some experience in film, television, or production environments and understands basic on-set culture and workflows
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities in real time
Tech-savvy and confident with email, calendars, document management, and basic production tools
Communicates clearly, professionally, and calmly under pressure
Eager to learn, grow, and be a true right hand to a creative principal
Flexible, reliable, and open to non-traditional hours when production demands arise
