A Music Talent Agency, located in Burbank, representing renowned music composers in the Film/TV/Interactive Media industry is seeking an administrative assistant to support the agent team. Our agency works with leading entertainment production companies to connect our clients with composing opportunities for projects with worldwide audiences. As an administrative assistant, you will fulfill an integral role in facilitating projects for the agency's clients.
Duties:
Administrative tasks including, but not limited to: rolling calls, answering and fielding heavy phone calls in a professional manner; handling, processing and filing all incoming emails
Manage and maintain a busy business calendar, including scheduling meetings, events and activities for agents and clients
Research and track project opportunities for clients
Track client submissions
Take accurate notes from meetings and calls
Maintain and work in company project database
Interact with studio executives, directors, producers via phone and email
Effectively interact and communicate with all departments of the agency
Social media for agency and clients
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Must have at least 1-3 years of assistant experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever changing priorities
Excellent organization and skilled in time management
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills (Windows, Word, Outlook)
Must anticipate and stay pro-active
Ability to handle pressure in a calm and professional manner
Attention to detail and good memory of people and places
Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
Work well in a team environment with both agents and project coordinators
Entertainment experience preferred but not required
Pay is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, holiday, and accrued time off. Fun perks.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30am-6:30pm.
Job Type: Full-time
