The Gersh Agency, a talent and literary Agency with offices in Beverly Hills and New York, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented assistant for its Beverly Hills office to support a Talent Agent, Partner in the Talent Department.
JOB DUTIES:
Administrative support including phone management/rolling calls, calendar management, expense reports, talent submissions, and travel arrangements.
Liaising with clients directly for various reasons such as meetings, auditions, project development, etc.
Liaising with international talent regarding projects, new clients, general meetings, etc.
Drafting email correspondences, sending submissions, upkeeping tracking lists, handling confidential information, and keeping incoming/outgoing material up to date.
Interface with HIGH level clients, managers, film producers, and studio executives in a professional manner.
Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using critical thinking and practical approaches.
Ad hoc duties for projects as needed
SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Bachelor's Degree required
Interest in International talent & entertainment with a focus on Europe & Asia
High level of initiative and capable of managing Brett's time/schedule as well as multiple projects & internal duties.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, highly organized, and driven.
Can handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are paramount.
Minimum of 1-2 years of desk experience at a Talent Agency or Management Company preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Google Suite
A willingness to make a one-year commitment.
Ability to read material quickly and form opinions / relay feedback.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, articulate, intelligent, and looking to become an agent or creative executive.
