The Gersh Agency, a talent and literary agency with offices in Beverly Hills and New York, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented assistant for its Beverly Hills office to support a Talent Agent, Partner in the Talent department.
JOB DUTIES:
Administrative support including phone management, calendar management, expense reports, and travel arrangements.
Client management including processing payments, tracking contracts, and scheduling appointments.
Drafting email correspondences, sending submissions, and tracking incoming/outgoing material.
Interface with clients, managers, film producers, and studio executives in a professional manner.
Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using critical thinking and practical approaches
Ad hoc duties for projects as needed
SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
High level of initiative and capable of managing one's time and multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are paramount
Prior talent agency experience is recommended but not required
Willingness to make a two-year commitment is strongly preferred
