Role Overview: As an IT Systems Administrator II, you will be the cornerstone of our IT support, offering both hands-on and remote assistance to users and skilled administration of our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will focus on comprehensive desktop and user support, encompassing everything from immediate troubleshooting to managing long-term system projects. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing outstanding user support.
Key Responsibilities:
· User and Desktop Support: Act as the first line of support for all desktop and user issues, managing ticketing systems and providing in person and remote support to ensure rapid resolution of IT concerns. Handle installations, configurations, and maintenance tasks for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
· System and Application Management: Oversee and optimize a range of business applications and software, including SaaS platforms. Manage system updates, security patches, and regular maintenance across all hardware and software systems.
· Account and Access Management: Administer Active Directory and manage user accounts. Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring that access rights and permissions are accurately configured and revoked when necessary.
· Mobile Device Management (MDM): Implement and monitor MDM policies to secure and manage mobile devices effectively within the organization.
· Projects: Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and minimal disruption to daily operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven track record as an IT Systems Administrator with substantial experience in desktop and user support.
· Expertise in managing Windows and MacOS environments, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and various SaaS applications.
· Strong understanding of network configurations, Active Directory, and mobile device management.
· Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt quickly to emerging issues.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of providing high-quality customer service and collaborating effectively with team members.
Education:
· Minimum of an Associate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
· At least 4+ years of experience in a Tier II IT support role or higher.
· Relevant IT certifications are highly desirable.
