Program Producer - The Epoch Times

Location: Washington D.C. (in-person; remote consideration for exceptional candidates willing to travel)

Job Description:
The Epoch Times is seeking a versatile Program Producer to join American Thought Leaders, our flagship long-form interview program hosted by Award-winning Senior Editor, Jan Jekielek.

This role is ideal for someone with strong editorial judgement who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct guest outreach, research topics, and develop interview questions
-Coordinate schedules, bookings, and shoot logistics
-Support shoots and ensure production quality (including travel shoots)
-Review and shape episodes with editors
-Write headlines, scripts, thumbnail text, and social content

Required Qualifications:
-Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
-Ability to manage logistics and multiple deadlines
-Commitment to producing factual content based on editorial guidelines
-Strong familiarity with the news cycle and current events
-Team player, adaptable, and detail-oriented
-Willingness to work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:
-Journalistic background or experience
-Social media or video editing experience
-Willingness to travel
