What part will you play?
The CW Network, LLC seeks a Manager, Human Resources Generalist for the Human Resources department.
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment Including: writing/updating job descriptions, coordinating with Warner Bros. partners to open and post job, screen resumes, schedule interviews with hiring managers, initiating background checks, extending offers and notifying candidates that are not selected. As needed: conducts phone screens and/or in-person interviews, sources alternative resources for posting jobs and attends recruiting events.
• Oversees the 120-day evaluation process. Distributes forms to managers and reviews each to ensure appropriate ratings and comments are reflected; ensures reviews are signed and returned. Educates management as needed regarding the appraisal process. Communicates timelines and measures completion, addressing any issues and ensuring consistency.
• Works with department managers on temporary staffing needs. Understands and analyzes resource justifications and makes recommendations to SVP for filling. Follows up to obtain names, visitor pass and completes online reporting form.
• Assists to maintains accuracy of personnel records and HRIS data with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion. May perform general clerical support, and update in the HRIS system as changes to employee status occur.
• As requested, manages various department driven projects (Birthday recognitions, Caring at Work efforts, etc.).
• Responds to employee inquiries, issues and problems relating to compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, employment verifications, etc. and ensures timely and appropriate action.
• Serves as back up for orientation, exit interviews, intern sourcing, creating offer letters and other duties as required.
What do we require from you?
• B.A./B.S. degree preferred.
• Must exercise a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with all level of employees.
• Must be collaborative and diplomatic, able to build consensus.
• Must possess solid critical thinking/reasoning and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Effective communication and persuasive skills are required.
• Strong analytical abilities needed.
• Strong organizational skills highly detail oriented. Able to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
• Current knowledge of state and federal employment-related legislation required.
• Strong computer skills - proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Approximately 4 years experience in Human Resources related field with emphasis in recruitment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers, affiliates, clients, and other levels of personnel.
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
• Must be able to work well under time constraints in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
