This is a Full Time Job
The Core Entertainment, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, is seeking a VP of Artist Development to join the team. This role is ideal for someone that excels in communication as they are the main liaison between the Artists and our in house teams.
What This Role Will Do
• Monitor sales data, provide reports and analysis and make recommendations as well as having an input in to how and where the music catalog is promoted;
• Work with artist, managers and internal teams on overall strategic direction of all marketing activities. Includes brand management, advertising, product management, special events, and competitive market research
• A continuous focus on building key relationships within the music community. Interact daily with all aspects of the business including creative, press, promo, and digital as well as artist and managers to develop and execute engaging campaigns.
What This Person Will Bring
• 5 - 7 years prior work experience in entertainment within a record label
• Experience in analyzing data and working with particular types of catalog management software
• Adaptable with fast changing needs from artists
• Sales and marketing expertise, and a knowledge of the market will also be highly valued
• Excellent time management, comfortable with quick ad hoc deadlines to meet touring schedules
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Box, Slack, DSP, Spotify, Amazon music
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Super organized and detail-oriented;
• Possess a positive work attitude with the ability to work on many projects at one time;
• Strong prioritization abilities;
