Intern - Mixing Engineering

Schweitz Audio is a division of The Code Worldwide, Inc and houses our Audio Addicts, including Grammy Award winning mix engineer, Jason Schweitzer, Founder and CEO who will directly oversee and develop the audio associates personally. Schweitz Audio has worked with artists and labels ranging from Kanye West, Meghan Trainer, Pussycat Dolls, Dr. Dre, A$AP Rocky, 1500 or Nothin, Snoop Dogg, Mayer Hawthrone, Interscope, Republic, Aftermath, Atlantic Records and countless others. We are seeking the next generation of amazing mix engineers to assist in their development and growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Be able to provide basic file setup for mixing
Provide Mix Prep (editing, labeling, routing)
Maintaining etiquette with all producers, executives,managers and artists you may interact with
Reviewing all session files and stems submitted
Maintaining a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to be as effective as possible.

Skills & Qualifications:
Must have mixing setup (computer, Pro Tools, speakers, etc)
Some type of educational training in audio engineering.
Some level of experience in mixing songs prior.
Knowledge and experience in Pro Tools.
Knowledge and experience in pitch editing programs such as Antares Autotune 7 & Celemony's Melodyne.
Troubleshooting equipment & signal flow.
Excellent time management & organization skills.
