What do we expect of our Interns here at The Chamber Group?
This is a learning experience for you as the intern and for us as a company. Your opinions and suggestions are greatly encouraged. Along with opinions and suggestions comes growth in your knowledge pertaining to the Public Relations & Marketing world. Interns are expected to come to work on time and willing and ready to assist the CEO/President of The Chamber Group and account executives. All internships are for credit only. The number of credits received will vary on the hours spent interning at The Chamber Group. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to make sure all necessary paper work and documents are handed in to your school. You must have relative knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), be organized and detail oriented & solid writing skills. Also a hunger for PR, branding and the entertainment industry is a must.
What are some of your duties as an intern?
Integrate online initiatives for client projects.(.ie interviews, online gossip flooding, etc.
Internet Research
Assisting with Photo Shoots & Press Events
Tour Press & Event PR for Red Carpet events
Creating Press Kits
Help Updating Media Contact Database
Answering Phones & Ordering Office Supplies
Putting together Press Kits
Creating Clippings for Various Artists
Faxing & Filing
