Winter Intern - Marketing

Marketing Internship Opportunity:

We're looking for an intern for the fall semester who is a self-starter and can help with ever-evolving branding, social media, and PR/marketing needs. This internship will largely focus on pitching to media outlets, handling social media activity, and helping to improve the company's online presence. Based on performance, there may be an opportunity to extend the internship through the spring semester and beyond.

Daily tasks will include the following:
• Create and post social media content
• Research current social media trends and ideate ways to incorporate them into posts
• Design visual content to post on social media that aligns with the company branding. Can be done via Canva , InDesign, Photoshop, or other standard graphic design platform.
• Research press contacts and write pitches to the media for PR and business purposes
• Handle administrative tasks and research needs, as necessary

Qualifications:
• Knowledge and interest in entertainment, celebrities and influencers, pop culture
• Social Media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter)
• Content Creation (& Graphic Design preferable)
• Written Communication
• Self-Starter
• Well-Organized

This internship will be remote, and hours are flexible.
