About the Role:
The Executive Assistant/Coordinator to the Founder and Chief Content Officer will be responsible for performing numerous administrative duties, as well as have visibility across studio operations. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic production company.
The ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles and willing to travel with the Founder and Chief Content Officer to out of state meetings. The EA/Coordinator will be responsible for sitting in on these meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items from the meetings.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end administrative process for the Founder and Chief Content Officer (CCO) to ensure they are as organized as possible
Make travel arrangements and book lodging when necessary
Track expenses and prepare expense reports
Ownership of the CCO's calendar
Coordinate meetings and calls across time zones
Ability to discern and determine which of all priorities is highest
Methodically organize requests in a fast-paced, complex environment
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations for CCO
Friendly and diplomatic handling of external partners and stakeholders
Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM for CCO's contacts
Draft emails and outreach for CCO when necessary
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables
Sit in on select meetings, take detailed notes with summarized feedback for the CCO including action items
Maintain a comprehensive task list for the CCO to ensure nothing slips through the cracks
Assist CCO with production efforts for both film and television, including but not limited to, research, development, pre-production, production, post-production, marketing, distribution, and home entertainment
Strong attention to detail and use of good judgment, while always maintaining confidentiality
Act as a liaison across departments, working closely with other executive assistants to triage work and coordinate deliverables across company goals and priorities
Qualifications:
5+ years experience supporting a senior content executive
Experience working at a very fast-paced public company and/or startup
Availability/flexibility - your work hours will depend on the needs of the business and the CCO, at times outside of normal business hours
Excellent work ethic and desire to deliver quality work
Excellent follow-up skills and desire to manage up
Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to work well autonomously and with little supervision
Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, DocuSign
Experience scheduling meetings in multiple time zones
Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give instructions
Bachelor's degree
