Comedian Guest Speaker

The Bay Foundation (TBF) is seeking a comedian to develop and present one 5-minute sketch at two virtual clean boating presentations, must be available nights and weekends. TBF will work with the contractor to coordinate presentation dates. The selected contractor will develop a script and deliver it during two virtual clean boating presentations while following these guidelines: No vulgar or derogatory language directed at the government (local, state, or federal), no profanity or offensive language, no unapproved improvisation. The purpose of contracting a comedian as a guest speaker is to utilize their comedic skills to connect to the boating community audience on an emotional level. Comedy makes knowledge easier to recall and will hopefully lead to increased environmental awareness and behavior change. This project is grant-funded by the Clean Vessel Act Education and Outreach Grant Program. California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW) must review and approve the script and may request edits.
