Communications / Event Coordinator
This person builds strategic partners, key customer/client relationships, identifies business opportunities, maintains extensive knowledge of current industry. It is their job to work with the Executive Director to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. Business Development person will manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
Job Description
The primary role of the Business Development person is to grow client base by build on existing relationships and creating new clients primarily through events, networking and other means of generating interest from potential clients.
They must develop a rapport with existing and new clients, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
o Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
o Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
o Research and build relationships with new clients.
o Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.
o Submit weekly progress reports.
o Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's client relationship management system.
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing/advertising.
