The 1896 Studios and Stages is looking to grow our team!
Hiring Two New Team Members:

Studio Assistant to ON-SET manage film/photo shoots renting our facility; lead ever important scouts as the face of The1896; and apply your specific talents working on projects at/in and around this creative and active facility.

Freelance position with regularity! You will be booked to work when we are booked with shoots. This can include shoots on weekends as well as very early start times and occasionally very late overtime. Punctuality and Agency are an absolute must. As an integral part of a very lean and poised team, if you have what it takes, we'll keep you busy! IE, if we can count on you, you can count on us.

Train at $20/hr hire at $22-25/hr (commensurate with prior On-Set experience.)

Studio Assistant and future Junior Booking Manager - all of the above as well as some serious administrative know-how as you work the dynamic minute-by-minute world of booking multiple shoots onto The 1896 stages. You will navigate our intense Bookings Calendar and actively participate in negotiations, logistical juggling, arranging staffing and stage preparedness. All under the guidance of our fearless hard-working Operations Manager and Owner as part of a crucial team perfecting each client's soft landing into the glorious world of The 1896.

Two to three guaranteed shifts per week. Shifts can be anywhere from 8-13hrs if you are managing the shoot on set as well. Serious administrative experience is an absolute must. Must be good with numbers and multi-tasking. We need someone who thrives on how alive this process is, loves logistics and doesn't stress out when new info comes in only to change our strategy last minute!

Both positions are very physical, and we want someone who thrives on working hard and being relied upon.
