Job Description
Minimum age: 18
Pay Rate: $12.00/hr
Hours: 32 hours per week on average
Timeline: February through October
The Ticket Operations Assistant is a part-time position that provides support to the Ticket Office staff by assisting with daily office functions and responding to a high-volume of requests and demands on game days and non-game days.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Answer and respond to incoming phone calls from season ticket holders, ticket purchasers and guest complaints
• Lead support for fans using MLB Ballpark app
• Assist Box Office and Phone Room Managers with day-to-day operations
• Assist guests by resolving ticket purchase errors
• Secure payment for ticket sales and process distribution of tickets
• Process and execute game ticket requests
• Sell tickets for third party events
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passion to work in the Sports Industry
• Must be able to work well with a diverse group of peers
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and pay attention to detail
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Willingness to work weekends, games, events, and some holidays
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must be available and willing to work throughout the 2021 Season from February through October
