Premium Sales Executive, Globe Life Field
The Texas Rangers are seeking dynamic experienced sales professionals to sell premium seats and suites for Globe Life Field. Set to open for the 2020 season, Globe Life Field was designed by HKS to bring the best baseball experience in the world to Arlington, Texas. Additionally, the new ballpark will sit adjacent to a new entertainment district, including Texas Live!, which will change the game day experience for Rangers fans for years to come. The Rangers are looking to build a unique team that will sell through face-to-face interaction both in the offices of a prospective clients and in an on-site Rangers designed sales center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Sell premium seats to Globe Life Field through cold calling, prospecting, networking, face-to-face meetings, and referrals
• Build and foster relationships with past, current, and potential Rangers customers
• Responsible for self-generated lead acquisition to maximize number of sales and overall revenue
• Meet and exceed sales goals set forth by the team
• Provide excellent customer service at all points in time
• Perform well in a team environment supporting the success of others
• Accurately track sales activity and sales progress through Salesforce
• Work within the Tickets.com ticketing system
• Assist in the completion of contracts for sold inventory
• Attend Rangers games, networking events, and other activities in the DFW market with the purpose of generating new business
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, with a sports team or entity preferred
• Experience making sales for a new/opening venue, preferred
• Prior history of meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required and travel as needed
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be comfortable presenting information to high-level executives and large groups
• Strong listening skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain a team-oriented environment
• Lives and thinks outside of the established way of doing things
• Inclusive; a collegial, open, and collaborative teammate with superior work ethic
• Ability to anticipate clients' needs and proactively find solutions
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
• Must possess a high level of energy
• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Time management skills are crucial
