This is a Full Time Job
The Production Services Rental Manager is responsible for the planning, communication, and execution of events for REV Production Services by performing the essential duties personally and through supervisors and subordinates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Assists the director in directing, supervising and scheduling all aspects of event coordination, including; event coordinator assignments, scheduling, communication, and budgeting.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and developing event services coordinators.
• Creates and implements standard operating procedures for event coordination and communications with other departments.
• Manages subordinate full time event services coordinators including staff schedules, timecards, and periodic reviews among other supervisory duties.
• Collaborates with the Director and the Manager of Event Operations to coordinate the planning, build, execution, and post-event financial and operational reporting of Major Events for Rangers Events.
• Reviews and reports financial reports relating to event expenses, payments, and general ledger allocations.
• Reviews event plans to ensure adherence to organization safety and brand policies and procedures.
• Sets expectations for guest services, building security, emergency preparation and crowd control procedures for events; monitors compliance and responds to concerns as needed.
• Reviews post event notes and client surveys to ensure brand quality standards are achieved.
• Manages event booking and diagramming software including; renewals, updates to diagramming templates, staff training, and industry best practices.
• Builds strong client relationships and updates guest history in order to meet their needs and encourage repeat business; works with the Rangers Events Sales Department to generate new business revenue.
• Primary point of contact regarding HR processes including support during hiring, onboarding, position changes, off-boarding and payroll.
• Conducts facility tours for prospective clients.
• Provides general event support for public ticketed events as needed.
• As scheduled, works flexible/varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, Business or similar major.
• 1 to 2 years event management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively supervise staff.
• Proficiency in Event Booking, Venue Ops, Social Tables and/or other departmental event management software.
• Skilled in the understanding, implementation, and creation of SOPs for event planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Demonstrated organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, live production and communications staff, and vendors.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedules.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to interact with all levels of staff and clients.
