Intern - Production

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The Production Intern is responsible for assisting the Coordinator of Digital Media Production in shooting and editing various kinds of video content for the Texas Rangers across multiple platforms including Social Media, Ballpark Entertainment and other organizational departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Shoot and edit features for social media, website and in-game
• Shoot and edit features for Rangers Foundations community events
• Assist in shooting press conferences
• Assist in development of creative ideas for social media, website and in-game
• Assist with logging and organizing video library
• May be required to work some Texas Rangers Baseball home games which include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Full COVID-19 vaccination required
• Other responsibilities as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent
• Experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Experience using DSLR and ENG style cameras - Sony FS5/FS7 preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be a creative and strong team player, with the ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
