Foundation Assistant

This is a Full Time Job


JOB SUMMARY: To provide the administrative support and fulfillment responsibilities to ensure the Rangers Foundation programs and events are successful and to assist in other department programs where necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Assist with fulfillment of Foundation programs including but not limited to grant program, Fitness All-Stars, Leading Off, Faces of Freedom, just keep livin and future programs
• Coordinate foundation donor tracking, donation documentation and coordination with accounts payable
• Assist department with Texas 2 Split (5050 raffle) administration, fulfillment and tracking
• Coordinate scholarship program fulfilment
• Assist with department fundraising events and program events
• Assist director of events with fulfillment of event sponsorships and event logistics
• Assist with community ticket programs as needed
• Assist in Foundation Room during games as needed
• Assist in coordination of community outreach events including awareness nights at Globe Life Field
• Support department's administrative needs
• All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree required
• 1 years of experience in sports organization, or non-profit agency required
• Proficient in Microsoft software
• Very strong organizational skills
• Goal oriented and ability to set priorities
• Self-starter and ability to work on several projects at once with minimal supervision
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
