invoicing, travel bookings, schedule, mac calendar, excel, final draft, final cut, keynote, powerpoint, script coverage, must have california drivers license, potential traveling, update website/twitter/facebook etc, work long hours, driving to and from set, spanish speaking (conversational), fedex shipping, make reservations, knowledge of LA for driving, good communication skills.
JESSY TERRERO (Director) marked his feature film directorial debut with Soul Plane (MGM 2004). Terrero’s short film,The Clinic, was chosen to screen at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and has been screened at the New York International Latino Film Festival, Urbanworld, and the Los Angeles Short Film Festival. He was selected to be a participant in Fox Searchlight Pictures’ new digital production unit, Fox Searchlab, which recognizes and mentors emerging filmmakers with exciting new cinematic voices.
Terrero shot his first student film on Super 8. After college, he landed an associate producer internship with the romantic comedy I Like It Like That. In 1996, he teamed up with his brother and formed T&T Casting, supervising extras casting for low-budget films.
While working as a casting agent, Terrero spent months juggling auditions, between casting sessions. Terrero’s acting credits include speaking roles in Law & Order,Brooklyn South, The Sopranos as well as the first Spanish-language S.A.G. film, In Search of a Dream. In addition to all of this, Terrero made his first music video for Ghetto Concept, which was nominated for a Much Music Award in Canada.
During the summer of 2000 Terrero shot his first mainstream music video for Jill Scott, which garnered critical acclaim and music video award nominations from MTV and Billboard Magazine for Gettin’ In The Way, which Terrero followed up with the MTV buzz-worthy follow-up Long Walk.
Jessy’s hit video for Leona Lewis Bleeding Love was one of many that he directed that reached #1 on MTV. Terrero also directed Enrique Iglesias’ Do You Know, which peaked at #2 on MTV. Terrero has also directed several chart-topping videos for Wisin & Yandel and most recently was nominated for a MTV Video Music Award for Best Pop Music Video for their chart-topping hit ''Abusadora.'' Terrero’s video work includes Ludacris featuring Mary J. Blige ''Runaway Love''; Daddy Yankee ''Rompe'' which was nominated for MTV’s Best Hip-Hop video 2006; 50 Cent ''Candy Shop'' (nominated for a 2005 MTV Video Music Award for Best Male Video); Lionel Richie ''I Call it Love''; and Syleena Johnson ''I Am Your Woman'' (nominated for Billboard Magazine’s Video Music Awards Best New Adult Contemporary New Artist Clip of the Year 2001.)
Terrero’s feature, The Gun, starred Val Kilmer, Anna Lynne McCord and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. He also produced the original short film Los Bandoleros, which reveals the events leading up to the beginning of Fast & Furious and was a huge online success and directly impacted DVD sales of the fourth film of the franchise. Terrero also filmed a documentary on pro skate boarder Stevie Williams in conjunction with the launch of his sneaker line with Reebok/Adidas.
Terrero is currently in post-production on his new film, Freelancers, which stars Robert DeNiro, Forest Whitaker and Curtis Jackson.
