            DESCRIPTION:
Director, Graphic Design (Direct-to-Consumer)
Tennis Channel is seeking a Director of Graphic Design to lead the visual identity and creative execution of its direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming platform.
This strategic role will drive the design of static and dynamic elements for daily app publishing, email campaigns, and landing pages, ensuring a cohesive, engaging experience across iOS, Android, smart TVs, and web platforms. The ideal candidate will blend artistic excellence with technical precision to elevate user engagement, brand consistency, and conversion rates for Tennis Channel's streaming service.
Key Responsibilities
• Creative Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and maintain the visual identity of Tennis Channel's DTC platform, aligning with Tennis Channel brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Design and oversee production of high-quality, platform-optimized graphics for daily publishing (e.g., match highlights, event promotions, editorial content).
  • Guide marketing agency visual design work to align campaign visuals with broader brand initiatives and product look and feel.
• App & Platform Design
  • Oversee the creation of static graphics for app interfaces (e.g., homepages, content tiles, navigation elements) across iOS, Android, smart TVs (Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV), and web.
  • Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and tailored to platform-specific user behaviors (e.g., TV vs. mobile).
• Email & Landing Page Optimization
  • Design visually compelling email templates and landing pages that drive subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with CRM and marketing teams to A/B test designs for maximum conversion (e.g., promotional offers, event announcements).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product, engineering, and content teams to integrate design assets seamlessly into the app's UI/UX.
  • Work with marketing teams on cross-departmental promotional initiatives (e.g. Tennis.com, tournament activations, affiliate partnerships, etc.).
• Innovation & Process Improvement
  • Stay ahead of design trends in streaming platforms and implement cutting-edge visual storytelling techniques.
  • Streamline workflows for rapid asset delivery (e.g., real-time updates during live tournaments).
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field; master's degree or portfolio demonstrating equivalent expertise preferred.
• 8 years in graphic design, with 3 years in a leadership role (DTC, streaming, or digital media experience is a plus).
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and prototyping tools.
• Expertise in designing for multiple platforms (mobile, TV, web) and email clients.
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• Background in sports, entertainment, or streaming platforms, with an understanding of live event-driven design needs.
• Experience with motion graphics (After Effects, Lottie) for enhancing static assets.
• Knowledge of Tennis Channel's content ecosystem (e.g., live matches, documentaries, FAST channels).
