As part of a fast-paced, collaborative editorial team, the Content Editor plays a key role in delivering timely, accurate, and engaging tennis coverage across Tennis Channel's non-linear platforms. This role helps shape how fans discover, consume, and connect with the sport through compelling, digital-first storytelling. The Content Editor writes and works on all of Tennis Channel's non-linear properties.
In this role, you will:
• Provide editorial coverage for Tennis Channel, producing a minimum of two stories per day.
• Contribute copy for Tennis Channel and website newsletters.
• Assist the Senior Editorial Manager and Senior Content Editor with daily operational needs, content research, and website maintenance.
• Work within the content management system to update pages and sections in a timely manner.
• Upload content and manage metadata, tagging, and data organization across all CMS platforms.
• Generate content ideas for team discussions and actively participate in meetings.
• Support planning of the editorial content calendar and communicate related decisions.
• Exercise sound journalistic judgment to ensure accurate, unbiased coverage of tennis and its players.
• Ensure content is executed across all platforms, including the website and social media, in collaboration with the broader content team.
• Assist with reporting and tracking analytics, metrics, and insights.
• Recommend and implement workflow improvements, help mitigate technical issues, and respond to operational challenges.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors' Degree required
• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Possess solid news judgement
• Be a compelling and accurate writer
• Good communicator
• Able to work well both in a team environment and independently
• Passion for breaking news coverage and digital news coverage
• Knowledge of tennis
• Work on nights and weekends required around the tennis calendar
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and wear many hats while maintaining professionalism

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
