Responsibilities
Telemundo is seeking a high-performing individual to help drive our News division. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic team player who will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative atmosphere. As the SVP of Daytime News, this individual will help Telemundo Network increase the audience and revenue goals. This person will work closely with leadership accross our different departments, and will present and articulate the needs and vision for News to ensure its core objectives are met.

This position will report to the EVP of News and will be based out of our Miami headquarters. Responsbilities include:
• Ability to identify opportunities and create actionable plans in the short and long term
• Provide guidance to major stakeholders on different initiatives and projects
• Ideate and execute process improvements in the News organization
• Strategically think outside of the box to provide guidance/instructions as needed
• Anticipate changes and/or needs related to personnel, projects needs, funding, and other resources to help drive initiatives from inception to close
• Monitor performance and work cross-departmentally to promote content across Telemundo
• Deep understanding of market competitors, market trends, opportunities and competitive challenges
• Develop effective and creative strategies; uncover and develop new opportunities for growth
• Ensure resources and efforts are being included across scalable opportunities

Qualifications
/Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the TV media industry
• Experience leading and executing successful development strategies
• Must be able to demonstrate past success through measurable data
• Strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience operating within cross-functional teams
• Intellectual curiosity about and passion for media; ability to be a creative thinker
• Superior analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
