Responsibilities
The Producer will be responsible for the development and production of news packages needed for different news shows.
Responsibilities
• Develop and produce packages for Telemundo daily news show
• Implement work independently with guidance from the Executive Producer and/or Line Producer
• Develop successful story telling of stories for the daily national news cast.
• Conduct pre-interviews of guests and based on their responses, script questions for use by anchors and reporters.
• Manage and arrange any necessary travel logistics for guests
• Write compelling copy and teases when needed.
• Secure elements such as sound bites and video to support segments and packages.
• Generate original guest ideas daily, tapping into a broad array of sources for ideas
• Work with the local NBC Production Support team for when additional technical support is needed such as extra audio personnel and gear
• Pitch stories, book guests and write scripts. Be responsible for finding locations for live shots, prepare permits, location releases, and needed Insurance paperwork for those locations.
• Will work directly with other teams in all aspects including when large show remotes happen throughout the year
• Responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in TV broadcast production with a focus on News and Special programming
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing workflows and working with other teams
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
