Responsibilities
The Corporate Communication team is looking for an experienced communications professional who will be responsible for developing Telemundo senior level executives' positioning as industry experts and thought leader. The Manager of Executive Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing communications plans for senior level executives, play a key role in developing and executing an ongoing series of communications intended to drive greater awareness and understanding of the company's growth strategy, business progress and culture. This role will lead to strategic leadership communications platforms in support of the overall brand reputation. It will be part of a broader corporate communications team responsible for internal and external engagement, strategic positioning, and stakeholder event management. 
Job Duties
• Help to drive strategic executive engagement and craft the communications for senior leaders.
• The Manager will work directly with our most senior leaders to champion Telemundo's thought leadership vision and, also work across all communications functions and the broader enterprise to cascade our core narrative and provide strategic support as needed
• Manage and supervise the production of executive speeches, presentations, and other written materials, including keynote addresses, video scripts, written communications to employees and external stakeholders, and panel remarks.
• Influence and guide leadership engagement and outreach efforts to ensure strategic alignment with business-wide communications plans.
• Develop and support long-term internal and external strategic executive engagement plans and platforms for senior leadership.
• Explore and develop industry-specific partnerships and speaking opportunities with top conferences including but not limited to The Aspen Institute, Milken Institute, World Economic Forum, TED, The Atlantic, Bloomberg, etc.  
• Conduct preparation for presentations and rehearsals and be on-site day of the event to manage logistics and handle executive needs (may require travel).
• Manage content development and presentation design for internal and external audiences.
• Influence and guide leadership engagement and outreach efforts to ensure strategic alignment with business-wide communications plans.
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with 1-3 years writing and editing experience (corporate/executive communications preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations or Communications
• Superb critical thinking skills and the ability to take a concept from ideation and strategy to execution autonomously
• Strong business acumen. Financial knowledge is a plus
• Experience working with C-level executives and across a matrixed organization
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Ability to formulate clear and concise executive and strategic messages to internal and external audiences from complex topics
• Must quickly learn to adapt writing to different voices and styles
• Resourceful in gathering information from across the organization
• Comfortable multi-tasking
• Extremely organized with unfailing attention to detail
• High level of comfort/ease interacting with all levels of the organization
• Professional and executive presence conducive to working with senior leadership
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required
• Strong computer/software knowledge and abilities
• Knowledge of media and entertainment business a plus
Additional Job Requirements
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
