Paid Intern - Orioles 5050 Raffle Seller

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

PAID INTERNSHIP POSITION SUMMARY: The Ted Williams Foundation is looking for high-energy, motivated sellers to join our 50/50 raffle sales team for the 2025 Baltimore Orioles season.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:
• Approach fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 raffle program
• Accurately handle the sale and distribution of the tickets, following program requirements
• Sellers are paid on a per game commission basis. Sellers will make 10% of sales as commission. Making a minimum of $100 a game, and a maximum capped commission of $250 a game.
• Sellers must arrive 30 minutes before the gates open and sell until the end of the 7th inning.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Prior experience handling cash
• Ability to interact positively with large fan base
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Above average verbal communication skills
• Strong sales skills
• Must be highly self-motivated and outgoing
• Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays if necessary
• In a variety of weather conditions, must be able to walk up and down numerous steps, and long distances in parking lot and stadium grounds.

• Do you live in the Baltimore area?
• Any previous experience working in any capacity with a Split the Pot or 5050 raffle?
• Would you be available to work week nights, week ends and the occasional week day games?
• Are you available at least two days on the weekend? (Friday- Sunday)
• First game is March 31st, are you available starting then? (If no, when can you start?)
