This is a Full Time Job
Job Responsibilities for this Temporary positions include:
• Digitizing content from various tape and mezzanine file sources to all of the current digital media formats. Including but not limited to Final Cut Pro capture/edit/export, Mezzanine file creation with technical metadata, DVD/BluRay complaint compression, 3D encoding.
• Processing of files pre/post encode/transcode such as spoiling content with visible and invisible watermark, file encryption, file analysis, edit xml and AVS templates, e- deliveries via Aspera, Smartjog, Digidelivery, Signiant, and/or client proprietary systems.
• Compliance and adherence to special security handling of physical and electronic content
• Extreme knowledge of following file formats in SD and HD standards: Apple ProRes(HQ), Mpeg 2 Cablelabs, H264 in Transport Stream, Windows media/VC1, Sorenson QT, Uncompressed AVI/QT, Mpeg 2 SMPTE D-10. XDCAMHD, Mezzanine files (50 Mbps/80 Mbps All I-Frames), Flash, mobile podcasts, streaming videos.
• Experienced with multiple encoding platforms such as Final Cut Pro, Digital Rapids, Inlet, Optibase, Amber Finn (formerly Snell & Wilcox), as well as transcoding platforms such as Rhozet, StreamZ Transcode Manager, Anystream, Ateme. Also familiar with DVD Compression and Authoring using Spruce and Scenarist authoring stations.
• Familiarity with all of Standard-Def tape formats including 1”, DCT, MiniDV, IMX, DBC, BCM, D1, D2, as well as Hi-Definition tape formats including D5, HDCAM, HDCAMSR.
• Knowledge of Manzanita Muxer and Analysis, Cerify/Baton automated QC, Secret Agent Encryption, Civolution, AviSynth, Rimage DVD/CD Duplication Robot
• Ability to multi-task, very deadline driven, extreme team player
Education and Experience
• High school diploma
• Good communication skills
• Organized, attentive to detail and able to work under deadlines
• Must be computer literate, detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Must be able to adapt to emerging technology and/or client/industry demands.
• Must be able to work a swing or night shift.
