TCL Research America -- IDEO Studio
Description
IDEO Studio is a newly formed studio by TCL. We are looking for adaptive and flexible candidates for our Storytelling position; a Storyteller interface with special software to create animated videos based off of a provided screenplay. Our Storytellers work within a small team to bring stories into video format in an accessible and easy manner. As a strong learning experience, this position is open to students and recent alumni. It is 100% remote, with no need to be physically near our home office.
This Position
The internship is from Nov. 15 to Feb. 28, 2021, and the time commitment is flexible from 15-40 hours per week. All applicants are invited to a short interview session with a brief introduction to our Storytelling software, after which they will be provided with their first paid project. We invite everyone else to utilize our platform to take on projects that are paid based on minutes of content created. For those selected to join our internship program, we offer a paid rate of $20 per hour, with flexible hours and scheduling.
Responsibilities
-- Use our in-house software to block out character movements, camera angles, and audio lines according to a provided screenplay and storyboard.
-- Listen to and incorporate feedback from a director and screenwriter regarding individual projects.
-- Utilize your choice of video editing software to assemble and refine video clips into a polished cut.
-- Upload video files to our freelance platform for review and publishing.
-- Provide insightful feedback regarding our software, tools, and methods.
Requirements
-- A Windows 10 computer capable of running Unity.
-- An eye for creative detail and a creative mindset.
-- Proficiency with video editing software is a plus.
