With a combination of over 25 years of experience in the industry, the work of this female-driven casting office spans theatre, TV, film, commercials, and web series. Building on a strong foundation of casting, producing, and dramaturgy, TBD Casting affirms their commitment to the integrity of the casting process, from start to finish. The hallmarks of their work are exhaustive idea generation and working closely with creative teams to ensure that the vision for each story unfolds dynamically. The office is dedicated to inclusion and diversity of all kinds, with a priority on casting each project in a way that reflects the heterogeneity of the world. TBD Casting serves as in-house casting consultant for TBD Productions, while working independently in theatre, film, TV, and commercial casting.
What you'll do:
This intern will assist with initial phases of casting including list making, breakdowns, and day to day casting administration work. The Casting Intern must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be attentive to detail, and must be knowledgeable about the theater industry and Broadway community. Opportunities may be available to attend readings and meetings. Applicants should be eager to learn, able to take initiative, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
Job Requirements:
-Passion for theatre, TV, and film
-Working knowledge of actors and current projects
-High adaptability
-A hard-working, professional attitude
-Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office
-Strong writing and verbal skills
-Amiable phone personality
-Hunger to learn
