Tastemade is looking for a Content Strategist with a knack for writing compelling copy and the ability to tell a story in both long and short-form editorial. We're looking for a creative thinker with excellent research skills to elevate the Tastemade brand voice across all social channels.
Who You Are:
• A creative storyteller who understands how to connect with social audiences on all social channels using great copy, video and interactions.
• A great writer who is able to inhabit the voice, tone and character of your channel, interacting with members and the global conversation.
• An investigator who uses data and analysis to determine what tactics are inspiring members.
• An experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight and inspire viewers.
What You'll Do:
• Create original and branded social copy for various Tastemade platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and Snapchat across the following verticals: food, travel, home & design
• Research, write, edit and produce creative content for our social platforms
• Provide insights and develop timely content that takes advantage of news and trends relevant to the Tastemade audience on a daily basis
• Help build, grow and manage daily social communication across Tastemade's pages
• Work alongside Programming team to ensure all content is published free of mistakes and adheres to brand guidelines
• Maintain Tastemade tone and voice across multiple channels
• Assist team with the distribution of content to the CMS systems and social publishing duties
• Analyze performance on a regular basis to grow traffic, engagement and reach goals
What You'll Bring:
• 2-3 years copywriting, community management or equivalent content creation experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related field
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Strong understanding of the social and digital landscape
• Strong familiarity with social publishing tools, especially YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
