What you'll be doing:
• Work cross-functionally across teams (Communications, People Operations, Marketing, Production, Programming, Sales, and Leadership) to execute communication initiatives from concept, acting as a strategic partner to the Communications Director
• Support company-wide initiatives, programs, and/or events
• Collaborate with the Communications Director to manage external agencies
• Manage upkeep of department documents
• Spearhead the creation of all major press release announcements and pitches
• Build out and maintain all press lists
• Develop publicity and communications strategy along with Director and partner agencies for launches of new streaming network shows to drive awareness and tune-in
• Work closely with Tastemade Makers, create strong relationships to leverage PR opportunities
• Lead day-to-day media relations in collaboration with external agencies with a focus on streaming network/consumer press
• Manage all aspects of the unit photography process for streaming network productions
• Manage the award research, tracking, and submission process as well as the internal announcement process
• Collaborate with the Communications Director to establish an internal communications strategy
• Assist in the creation and drafting of internal employer messaging (e.g. FAQ's, press updates, company announcements, etc.)
• Support Tastemade Together communications and initiatives
• Manage weekly all-company meeting programming
• Manage employer branding outlets, including, but not limited to Wikipedia, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Built In
• Manage LinkedIn programming and analytics
• High-level calendar management (e.g. executive team meetings, company-wide meetings, etc.)
What you'll bring:
• 3-5 years of experience writing in a corporate and/or startup environment
• Proficient in drafting press releases and press pitching materials
• You've helped to manage a variety of corporate communications channels
• Executive communications experience: you can write/tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates some understanding of messaging, positioning, and stakeholder needs
• Fearless when embracing technology: you're comfortable learning new programs to enhance company-wide communications
• Organized and creative: you're able to adapt and change directions in an instant; you're comfortable working at a fast pace and are able to meet deadlines
• Able to collaborate, engage, and empower your organization
