The Ray Team is an interactive entertainment & hype squad that performs at Tampa Bay Rays home games, parades, watch parties and other outside events. For the 2023 season, The Ray Team is seeking energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic individuals that want to elevate the Rays home game experience by creating a fun and interactive atmosphere.
The Ray Team provides for a fun, safe and enjoyable experience at Tropicana Field. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Must be at least 18 years of age and local to the Tampa Bay area
• Must be a team player
• Comfortable performing in front of large crowds and taking initiative
• Able to entertain in a family-oriented environment and interact with fans of all ages
• Extremely enthusiastic and outgoing while maintaining professionalism
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to respond to situations quickly and effectively
• Act as a positive representative for the Tampa Bay Rays at all times
• Experience in cheer, acting, dance and/or public speaking is preferred but not required
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be comfortable working in large crowds. Noise levels in the work environment are frequently loud
• Able to work in inclement weather
• Must be available to work a majority of Tampa Bay Ray's home games
• Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
