This is a Full Time Job
The Data Systems Analyst will report to the Manager, Data Strategy within the Business Strategy & Analytics Department. This role will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and enhancing data processes for the business side of the Rays Front Office. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure that data pipelines are efficient, accurate, and structured in a way that is conducive to analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Design end to end data pipelines including API and ingestion, transformation, processing, monitoring
• Develop data validation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy
• Build and maintain computational environments to support analytical modeling
• Write, optimize, and automate data processing tasks
• Proactively review ELT jobs – investigate interruptions and implement short-term and long-term solutions
• Maintain updated data dictionaries with schema, lineage, and data definitions
• Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources, handling various formats
• Collaborate on the design of and implementation of cloud-based architecture
• Create and update technical documentation for data processes
• Build data tables as necessary for ad-hoc analysis
Minimum Qualifications for the Position:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field
• Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark
• Experience building cloud-native data solutions (Snowflake preferred)
• Experience with ELT processes (Fivetran, Coalesce preferred)
• Experience building analytics-ready data tables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Strong work ethic and high intellectual curiosity

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Great communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects at a given time
