Work with CEO and Cultural Changemaker, Jess Weiner:
Jess has pioneered a unique niche consulting business around The Business of Empowerment.
She advises global brands and organizations on the issues facing today's women, girls and families.
She is a best-selling author, speaker, consultant and advisor to Fortune 500 companies.
Her team is a think tank with a soul of a startup and the reach and influence of big business.
Her work sits at the intersection of media, marketing, and social change.
This is a dream role for a creative marketer!
This position is responsible for creating and designing all of the content for the CEO's personal brand, ensuring it is on point with company vision and message, with a consistent eye for innovation, ideation, and evaluation.
The Marketing Communications Manager creates and designs all the marketing assets for the business including content for newsletters, decks, videos, podcasts and all social media assets (memes, gifs, etc). You will also be responsible for writing copy for the CEO for speaking events, podcast scripts and any longer form articles.
You will report to the Chief of Staff and will work with the CEO to set the content strategy and establish business goals.
On your team, you will work alongside a community manager who will implement the content ideas and work with you on managing and measuring impact, insights, and response from the community.
The key to success for this role is an insatiable curiosity about speaking in the voice of a personal brand (in this case, our CEO). There is a lot of creative freedom in this position and in addition to technical skills, we are committed to bringing on members with high emotional intelligence: knowing how to read a room, working tirelessly toward a shared goal (without ego) and enjoying the deeply tricky and important role that communicating with human beings plays in a time when the world is so oversaturated with information and ''marketing''.
This role has incredible growth opportunity and you will help develop innovative ideas to grow and deepen the quality of content in alignment with the overall strategy for the business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create and develop the strategy for all content including the monthly social media calendars, blog posts, newsletters, and all CEO speaking events.
Design all assets and materials in accordance with elevated graphic design skills and TTJ branding, voice, and style.
Create and manage all visual graphics in alignment with copy and brand vision and update marketing decks, JW capabilities decks, and client decks as needed. Develop strategy and measurable goals, alongside the Chief of Staff, for generating a revenue stream for the JW personal brand through free and premium content programs.
Regularly write blog posts and long-form articles as a part of the content strategy, with regular research on the best platforms and editorials that JW can contribute to.
Prepare all content materials for every speaking event for the CEO including speech note cards, presentations, shot lists, desired deliverables, and any printed materials.
Develop strategy and content for podcasts, new JW IP, and assets and manage production calendar and key players as needed.
Manage a strategy for new assets of JW including professional photoshoots, videos, and product.
Required Qualifications :
Three (3) years of experience in social media marketing.
Advanced design and editing skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Photoshop.
Experience working with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Experience using MailChimp for creating campaigns and tracking analytics.
