Bi-coastal Talent Agency is in search of a talented and motivated candidate to assist our agents in the New York Theatrical Department.
We are seeking an individual with at least 1-2 years of industry experience in either talent representation or casting. The agency is currently growing and expanding and this position has strong potential for growth.
Strong Written and Oral communication skills are required. We are interested in individuals with a passion for the arts and some serious foundational knowledge of the industry. This is a fast-paced environment.
-Bachelor Degree required
-Previous entertainment industry experience (agency, casting, management, etc.) is required
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task is imperative
-Leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team & directly supervise team members
-Proficient with MAC, Microsoft Suite, iMovie, and Google
-A solid, committed, hard-working ethic, good memory, and a passion for the industry us a must.
-Knowledge of In-Entertainment, Breakdown Services and Sides Express is a HUGE plus
Our assistants are expected to perform any and all of the following tasks:
Handle day to day email correspondence with roster of talent (800+) and casting
Disseminate all theatrical auditions to talent
Oversee the submissions of audition tapes
Must complete Admin organization tasks
Close and log all theatrical bookings in iE.
Send closing information, check authorizations, track payments.
Keep actor paperwork and materials up to date
Provide script coverage
Oversee all contracts for new and current talent. Keep up to date and handle all renewals.
Participate in scouting and holding auditions for new prospective talent
Assistant agents with scheduling meetings and zooms and participate in meetings/note taking/etc.
Regular conversations with talent to check in, answer questions, address concerns, and strategize
Onboarding and meeting with all new theatrical talent
As necessary, attend performances and events for current roster of talent
Oversee internship program and interviewing/hiring of interns
