Intern - Event Production

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Swisher Productions is a full service event management and production company. Our goal is to create unique, unforgettable experiences for our clients and guests.

We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working applicants with an interest in the event entertainment industry for our 2012 Fall Internship Program starting the beginning of August.

Intern will work directly with and learn from our owner/event producer as well as event coordinator.

Responsibilities include:
Heavy research projects
General office maintenance and administrative duties
Assistance in prep for and at events

Learning Objectives:
Gain understanding of the logistics involved to create an event
Learn to navigate and will help create databases for future event needs - i.e. venues, vendors, etc.
Understand the responsibilities of a small business with high profile clients

Ideally we are looking for a college undergrad with flexibility that might not always work the exact same days and hours each week and is also available on some weekends. We are a small company with many high profile clients. This will not be a large, corporate environment. You will get a lot of hands on experience and event time.
