Sunshine Sachs is seeking a Junior Account Executive with at least one year of experience working in social media to join our team in LA.
Junior Account Executives at Sunshine Sachs learn the ins and outs of integrated communications (media relations, social media, creative, brand integration, talent integration) and actively consume a wide variety of news and social media. Strong candidates have experience in or an understanding of channel management, content strategy across multiple social channels, influencer list building, and measurement reports. Junior Account Executives who excel at Sunshine Sachs are curious, eager to try new things, and consistently meet deadlines.
Core Skills and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and execution of social and digital strategies, including influencer marketing, data, measurement, paid social, etc.
- Builds well-researched influencer lists and compiles accurate and thorough client materials (memos, agendas, etc.)
- Proactively monitors social media channels for competitor news / industry trends in order to create opportunities for clients
- Can conduct brand channel audits
- Demonstrates good judgment and discretion in difficult client and staff situations
- Manages up effectively and efficiently
- Has a growing list of relationships with influencers across a variety of verticals and understands how to leverage those relationships to secure impactful opportunities
- Strategic problem solver for teams and clients
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience; social media background in an agency setting preferred
- Uses and has an understanding of different social channels, such Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, etc.
- Good research, writing, and organizational skills
- Positive, proactive, solutions-oriented
- Eager to network and build media relationships
- Inclusive, welcoming, honest, kind, empathetic, professional, mature
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and multi-task
