Full Time Job
Employment dates: Monday, December 2, 2019, thru Friday, February 14, 2020
Pay rate: $15.75 per hour
Considerations: This position works full time in our Park City, UT office leading up to and after the film festival. Position will primarily work in Salt Lake City to support ticketing and scanning systems during the film festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions throughout Park City, Salt Lake City and Provo.
Position Summary: Sets up ticketing and scanning systems and facilitates onsite troubleshooting at Festival venues and box offices. This position is the primary help desk contact during the Festival for all Salt Lake City and Sundance Resort theaters and venues. Primarily stationed in Salt Lake City during the Festival.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sets up and audits events, products, and all associated information in the ticketing system.
• Conducts training sessions, with manager, as directed.
• Provides onsite and remote ticketing and scanning tech support to theatres, box offices and venues, escalates issues as appropriate.
• Updates technical FAQ information for internal and external users.
• Monitors, answers, or responds to tech support calls and emails within 24 hours.
• Configures and maintains systems functionality, including hardware and software.
• Responds to SLC based theater and venue help desk tickets during the Festival to ensure resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
• 2 years basic networking and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, while escalating issues when necessary.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Android, and Google systems and applications.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• Experience working with and configuring ticketing systems e.g. scanning and access control.
