POSITION OVERVIEW
The Festival Coordinator, Marketing is charged with providing project support and coordination to support the Marketing team in a variety of capacities. The Coordinator may be assigned tasks supporting the production of branded signage, environmental graphics, or marketing initiatives promoting the Sundance Film Festival.
This temporary position works full time (40 hours per week) from Wednesday, September 2, 2026 to Tuesday, February 2, 2027 and must be based within a commutable distance to Boulder, CO. While there are day-to-day opportunities for work to be performed remotely leading up to the Festival, this position will need to work onsite at key points throughout the duration of employment. Extended hours, including evenings and weekends will be required at key points to meet deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned. A total of two (2) roles are available.
Top priorities include but are not limited to:
• Facilitating planning with the Marketing strategy lead, Creative Director, internal departments and venue contacts to identify project needs.
• Creating and maintaining timelines for design, installation, delivery, and break down for assigned elements, ensuring on-time execution.
• Routing design assets to Marketing leadership and internal departments for approval.
• Working with print vendors to develop estimates, align on specifications, deliver files, and coordinate shipping and receiving details.
• Organizing files and archiving all artwork files, as well as receiving materials from the printers, taking inventories, and storing all materials in the warehouse.
• Tracking and updating the relevant project budget, including reviewing invoices for accuracy, obtaining approvals, and submitting to the Budget Manager for timely payment.
• Writing a comprehensive post-Festival wrap report.
• Working closely with the relevant point of contact to establish deadlines and coordinate the work schedule of graphic designers for various creative deliverables that support Festival events, corporate sponsorship activation, and ticketing.
• Providing administrative and project support to the team.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• 2 years marketing or related experience.
• Experience in large format printing.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Detail oriented, with the ability to audit work to avoid mistakes, and perform tasks accurately.
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.
• Knowledge of Graphic Design, Wayfinding, Typography, and printed materials preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
