Job Description:
The Festival Video Lead, Digital will be responsible for recording Q&A sessions and other necessary video content prior to and during the Sundance Film Festival. The role includes editing videos, adding branding, and ensuring the quality of the recordings is suitable for public viewing. The lead will also assist with the technical production of live events, troubleshooting issues as needed, and delivering final video files for approval and posting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record panels, Q&A sessions, and video assets using Zoom or Streamyard
• Edit recordings to include branding and ensure high-quality standards
• Deliver edited videos to the LiveOps Support Lead for approval
• Assist with uploading approved videos to the content management system (CMS)
• Support live event production and resolve technical issues in real-time
Work Schedule:
This is a temporary, flexible position working from January 6, 2025, through February 2, 2025. Hours range from 10 to 20 hours per week leading up to the Festival, with increased hours during the Festival dates (January 23 – February 2, 2025).
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in video editing or digital live event support
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop)
• Experience with livestream technologies and Zoom
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during live events
