POSITION OVERVIEW
The Festival Coordinator, Ride Shares is charged with coordinating the operations and logistics for all things related to Ride Shares for the Sundance Film Festival.
Working closely under the direction of the Festival Manager, Transportation, the Coordinator supports the team by ensuring transportation logistics for the annual Festival are a success.
This temporary position works full-time (40 hours per week) from Wednesday, November 11, 2026 to Friday, February 12, 2027 and will be required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned. This position is based out of our Boulder, CO office in order to work onsite in a hybrid capacity throughout its employment.
Top priorities include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in implementing the ride-share plan.
• Coordinating with vendors to obtain necessary items outlined in the implementation plan.
• Helping the manager set up and tear down barricades at all pick-up and drop-off locations throughout Boulder.
• Serving as the department liaison during onsite vendor meetings.
• Communicating any issues that arise in real time, escalating issues to the Manager for resolution.
• Coordinating signage needs for the ride-share locations.
• Creating spreadsheets to capture data that can serve as a historical document for future use.
• Collaborating on the transportation timeline to ensure all tasks are included.
• Supporting the manager in staying on schedule and meeting deadlines.
• Updating the ride-share plan with changes that occurred during the Festival.
• Collecting daily ride-share data and incorporating it into a daily report.
• Validating locations to confirm they are running as planned.
• Gathering pick-up and drop-off data and creating a document that can be built upon in future years.
• Assisting the manager with other assigned projects and tasks.
• Completing a comprehensive written wrap report as directed.
You have the following direct or transferable qualifications and skills:
• 2 years experience in event transportation, production, operations, or related.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a MVR background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to move up to 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to drive in winter road conditions.
• Knowledge of the Boulder, CO area is helpful.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Knowledge of FileMaker Pro or other relational databases preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
