Position: Festival Lead, Production

Sundance Institute is seeking a Festival Lead, Production to support the operations team for the 2024-2025 Sundance Film Festival and fall labs. This temporary, full-time role runs from November 6, 2024, through February 28, 2025, and involves managing the production team, handling logistics, and executing setups for venues, events, and offices.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of 11 production assistants, supporting all service-related requests.
• Oversee logistics for venue and event setup, including load-ins, teardowns, and transportation of supplies and equipment.
• Manage inventory, clean, and organize storage units, ensuring accurate tracking.
• Handle production vehicle maintenance, including driving large box trucks, refueling, and snow removal.
• Address operational issues as they arise, escalating to management as needed.
• Assist with light construction projects, signage installation, and returning department radios and equipment.
Required Experience:
• 2 years of large-scale event production experience.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass a DMV background check.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google products.
Preferred Skills:
• Basic carpentry and painting skills.
Skills and Attributes:
