Job Title: Festival Graphic Designer, Advertising
Location: Remote
Position Summary:
The Festival Graphic Designer, Advertising will work closely with the Creative Director to produce graphic materials across print and digital platforms for the Sundance Film Festival. This includes designing media-rich advertising assets to promote ticket sales and the overall vision of the festival.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create design work for the Sundance Film Festival
• Design compelling graphics for print, digital ads, and social media assets
• Assist with additional graphic design needs as requested
• Partner with the Accessibility team to ensure designs meet accessibility standards
• Ensure all designs are completed on time and adhere to department schedules
• Provide graphic assets to external vendors and partners as needed
• Collaborate with various departments to meet graphic design requirements
• Organize, file, and archive all artwork files
• Complete a comprehensive written wrap report at the end of the festival
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• 3 years of graphic design experience, with a focus on advertising campaigns
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of print production methods, fabrication, and installation
• Creativity and versatility in graphic design
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Animation or motion design skills are a plus
Work Environment:
• Fully remote
• Temporary position from October 21, 2024, to January 17, 2025
• Requires extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary Range:
• $20.32 per hour
