The Sundance Institute is seeking a Festival Coordinator, Social Media to support the social media strategy for the Sundance Film Festival. This role will help increase digital engagement and participation by creating, executing, and managing content for multiple platforms. The position requires creating original content, including filming and editing videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Concept, create, and post original social media content daily.
• Film and edit video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
• Monitor viral trends and create relevant content.
• Work with internal teams to deploy sponsored campaigns and manage social media calendars.
• Attend events to capture live content and manage on-site postings.
• Assist with managing user-generated content and monitor adherence to platform codes of conduct.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience executing social media strategies across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and Threads.
• Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and video editing tools like CapCut.
• Strong copywriting skills and experience with live event coverage.
• Ability to work extended hours during the Festival season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
