Full Time Job
Employment Dates: 12/13/2017-2/7/2018
Considerations: This position works full time out of our Park City, UT office. Employee will be required to be lodged in Park City for approximately the 10 days of the film festival (unless employee lives in Park City). Position is also required to work extended hours (evenings, weekends, some holidays) during key points and must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions.
Position General Summary: Assists with logistical and operational needs to support the Sundance Film Festival Theatre Operations Team.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
• Assists with orders and deliveries as directed.
• Assists with theatre load-ins/outs, receiving inventory,etc. as assigned.
• Orders, inventories and distributes theatre signage as directed.
• Sets up the theater operations, production, and transportation festival offices as directed.
• Distributes film posters to assigned theatres as directed by the Press Office.
• Tracks and maintains team contact information, e.g. phone numbers, schedules, locations, and calendars, etc.
• Assists with collecting theatre keys from volunteer theatre managers, tech services, production, and IT personnel.
• Assists with programming and distributing festival cell phones to team.
• Assists team with timelines, inventorying, ordering, special screenings, etc. as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Microsoft and Google Products.
• Outstanding communication skills, telephone, written and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Conflict management skills.
• Must be able to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
• Able to lift, carry and push items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• 6 months to 1 year experience in venue/event operations or related.
