POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate Director, Digital position leads initiatives and communications relating to the Institute's digital strategy, operations, and products. With a strong understanding of the Institute's digital products and ability to collaborate across departments and levels, this position will lead the planning, designing, and execution of process improvement and operational optimization.
Working directly under the Director, Digital the Associate Director, Digital will align the Institute's digital products with strategies best suited for their intended audience.
This full-time position works remotely from within a state of operation and will be required to work extended hours including evenings and weekends at key points throughout the year.
Top priorities include but are not limited to…
• Serving as a key digital liaison across the organization to drive Digital plans and projects.
• Overseeing, guiding and building internal communications from the Director, Digital to relay digital related strategy, initiatives, and products to keep employees updated on changes and functions, including creating a bi-monthly department update deck.
• Reviewing digital processes and work flows to recommend and design process and operational improvements.
• Managing the digital project workflows across functions to ensure seamless integration, requirements are met, and that they are executed.
• Conducting routine assessments of digital projects and technologies to assess functionality and recommend new partnerships which drive improvement.
• Building and implementing a digital analytics strategy for the Collab platform, working with Collab team members and Marketing and incorporating best practices and standards to establish and report on key indicators of performance.
• Managing the process for setting up and refreshing contracts for Collab instructors and advisors
• Managing the process for collecting invoices from Collab instructors and advisors and processing them for payment.
• Scheduling and leading meetings across the digital functions to set goals and ensure progress.
• Overseeing special projects as assigned by the Director, Digital and/or the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO).
• Conducting training to educate the team and employees from other departments, as necessary, on new processes, technologies, and strategies.
• Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels and across the organization to drive deadlines and ensure products are delivered on time and to spec.
• Supporting the Director with all budgetary duties and responsibilities.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 7 or more years of experience in digital marketing, process review/change, and initiative execution.
• Strong project management skills, with ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to build relationships across the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Comfort and aptitude for conducting presentations.
• Passion for artists, independent film, theater, and storytelling preferred.
• Strong knowledge of arts and culture nonprofit organizations preferred.
• Comfort with managing analytics projects and reporting, including Google Analytics, Active Campaign, Stripe and Netsuite.
