Part Time Job
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant, Indigenous Program is charged with providing administrative and logistical support to the Indigenous Program and team.
Working closely under the direction of the Senior Manager, Indigenous Program, the Assistant works part time remotely. This position will work 15-20 hours a week, March through August. Hourly pay rate will vary based on location.
Top priorities include but are not limited to…
• Assisting with scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
• Assisting with interdepartmental coordination.
• Facilitating departmental procedures and assisting with hosting lab fellows.
• Interfacing and assisting with the needs of program fellows, alumni, and other artists.
• Updating program documents as assigned.
• Tracking and updating the program's artist list within the department's database.
• Thoroughly reading, vetting, and organizing, all Indigenous Program Fellowship submissions.
• Organizing the shared department drive and archiving materials older than three years.
• Script reading, and coverage.
• Program and content related research.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 1 year of administrative or related work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording, tracking, and issuing information.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to work independently and reliably under tight time frames in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate across various teams and external contacts.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
• Strong computer skills, with specific experience working with Google Applications preferred.
