Sugar23 is in an exciting phase of growth and is currently seeking an Operations Manager for our LA office! The Operations Manager will be part of our Chief Operating Officer team. This position will play a key role in shaping strategies and processes aligned with business goals and supporting growth across all organizations.
What You'll Do:
• Manage the logistical operations of our LA offices including facilities, systems, IT equipment, maintenance, vendors, furnishings, parking, and supplies. Maintain and upgrade the office and amenities as needed. Assist with equivalent functions for satellite offices.
• Maintain, identify, and communicate office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately and kept up to date
• Assist accounting/finance and HR team by managing the office budget and expenses
• Assist our Executive Assistant Team with special projects and coordinating meal and other logistics for onsite VIP events and meetings.
• Make sure that all conference rooms and systems are maintained at consistently high levels of functionality
• Coordinate with legal, HR, IT and other internal teams on onboarding/offboarding of new employees and contractors
• Manage issues and processes relating to office subtenants, licensees, visitors and guests
• Oversee logistics relating to internal and external office moves
• Support company culture and employee morale by organizing engagement activities including team events both virtually and in-person.
• Continually assess and improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Work proactively with company management to manage the logistical requirements of company expansion and growth
What You Need:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities operations and management (or similar functions)
• Experience negotiating with vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers
• Strong communication skills, EQ self-awareness, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and demonstrate an ability to prioritize workload
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented self-starter, high attention to detail, ownership mentality
• Previous experience managing budgets
• Proficient in GSuite, Slack and Zoom
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• May need to lift up to 15-20 pounds at times
Nice to Haves:
• Experience working with property management
• Experience in a similar role supporting an executive team of a quickly growing company
• Experience managing satellite offices and supporting remote employees

Pay Range - $65,000-$75,000
Location - Los Angeles
